Technological risks: where science ends and responsibility begins
Friends! We invite you to a talk with Olena Parenyuk—a radiobiologist, researcher of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, and co-author of the book “The Terrible, the Beautiful, and the Grotesque in Chernobyl”.
Chernobyl needs no special effects—it is striking in its own right. We’ll have an honest and scientific discussion about radiation, the consequences of the accident, microorganisms, and the myths that still surround this topic.
In her talk about how Chernobyl continues to affect Ukraine today, the researcher combines current scientific data with her personal experience working in the exclusion zone.
Admission is free.
We look forward to seeing you there!
