{"id":764,"date":"2019-03-08T16:05:31","date_gmt":"2019-03-08T14:05:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/study.library.kpi.ua\/www.library.kpi.ua\/?p=764"},"modified":"2026-05-11T09:47:00","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T06:47:00","slug":"elektronna-dostavka-dokumentiv-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.library.kpi.ua\/en\/elektronna-dostavka-dokumentiv-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Order an electronic copy of a part of the book\/article"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>E-COPY OF A DOCUMENT FROM EXTERNAL RESOURCES (FREE OF CHARGE)<\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students and staff at our university can receive a digital copy of a document free of charge via email from:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the RapidILL service (collections from over 500 libraries in Europe and the USA, as well as commercial electronic databases);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">subscription-based databases and information platforms from publishers Springer Nature (e-books from 2017 and scientific articles from recent years) and ScienceDirect (monographs from 2019\u20132020);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the KPI Library collection.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\">How to use<\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To receive an electronic copy of a document from external resources or the KPI Library collection via email, please contact the Library staff in a way that suits you:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">check the availability of the publications you require in the suggested information resources: the <a href=\"https:\/\/discovery.kpi.ua\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KPI Library catalogue<\/a>, subscribed licensed databases, the <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/search?query=&amp;showAll=false\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Springer Nature<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ScienceDirect collections<\/a>, as well as commercial databases (orders for materials from these will be processed via the RapidILL service);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScvJHDleG7o13xaDmMRR4I9LptviRn2lRmIK0y7WV-e7Jhr4w\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">requesting documents from external resources<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfY8u6LDqF3oZpnxWMLU0nXXDLM-WSjp2ofk8VYfGMfoevs_Q\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">requesting documents from the KPI Library collection<\/a>;\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>or send an email to edd@library.kpi.ua with precise details of the publication from which you wish to receive a digital copy of part of the document, along with your full name, library card number, telephone number and email address.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will first receive an email confirming that your request is being processed. You will receive the digital copy via email within 3 working days of the Library.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Important!
