Who has the right to be a co-author? How can each researcher\u2019s contribution be fairly assessed? And how can disputes be avoided even before the article is submitted?<\/p>\n<p>Key aspects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>who can be considered an author of a scientific publication;<\/li>\n<li>what international criteria exist for determining authorship;<\/li>\n<li>what roles and contributions qualify for co-authorship;<\/li>\n<li>how authorship differs from acknowledgments;<\/li>\n<li>how to avoid \u201chonorary\u201d and \u201cghost\u201d authorship;<\/li>\n<li>how to properly agree on the order of authors in an article;<\/li>\n<li>what practices help prevent conflicts within a team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Speaker: Sofia Zherebchuk, Chief Librarian and Coordinator of the Research Data Management Department at the KPI Library.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/mr3dumcw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Registration.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>All registered participants will receive a link via email.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in the webinar is free of charge.
