And we are working on the quality of metadata and international integration of the repository so that the research of the university community is visible to European partners.<\/li>\n<li>We take care of the URCORE community (Ukrainian Repositories Community for Open Research and Education), which already unites 52 participants and helps Ukrainian repositories work according to international standards.<\/li>\n<li>In 2026, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute officially approved the <a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/jpmsftzy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regulation on Research Data Management<\/a> &#8211; in accordance with the FAIR principles and the requirements of the Horizon Europe program.<\/li>\n<li>For the first time in Ukraine, the KPI Library introduced the position of data steward &#8211; a specialist who helps researchers with data management plans, licensing and the choice of repositories.<\/li>\n<li>We host webinars and prepare materials on open science, FAIR principles, research data management, and the use of <a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/5h2ehy98\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AI in academia.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Science Day, we talk about integration into the European Research Area and the activities of the KPI Library aimed at assisting this integration.
