We would like to inform you that August 24 (Wednesday) is sanitary day in the Library.

The library does not serve users on this day.

KPI Advanced Education journal received a grant from the SUES scientific committee

The scientific journal Advanced Education received a grant from the scientific committee Supporting Ukrainian Editorial Staff (SUES) in the amount of 1500 euros to support the editorial staff of the journal according to the outlined development prospects: modernization of the website design, purchase of software for professional layout and editing of English-language texts, professional development editors, etc.

We thank the representatives of the SUES initiative group for their trust and support, which will contribute to the development of the scientific publication.

The Scientific journal «Advanced Education» («Newest education») is a peer-reviewed publication that supports the policy of open access to scientific publications, and is indexed by Web of Science, ERIH PLUS, Eric, EBSCO host, DOAJ, CrossRef, WorldCat, Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, SprintKnowledge , Google Scholar, BASE, OAJI.

Expanding the list of databases

The list of databases on our website has been supplemented with 4 new items – databases with free access:

• J-STAGE is a Japanese portal of scientific and technical information that provides access to more than 3,000 scientific journals, materials of the conference, and other academic publications.
• Hathi Trust Digital Library is a partnership of leading research institutes and libraries working to ensure the preservation and accessibility of cultural heritage in the future. Currently, about 16 million copies, almost 1 million book titles, and more than 439,000 journal titles have been digitized in the database.
• EuDML (The European Digital Mathematics Library) is a long-term digital collection of mathematical literature.
• EUR-Lex is the official and most comprehensive review of legal documents of the European Union. Available in all 24 official EU languages and updated daily.

Support of Ukrainian scientists from the Elsevier company

Elsevier provides free access to its research tools, databases, educational platforms to facilitate the work of scientists during this difficult period.

The Ukrainian scientists and students can register at the Resource Center to access such Elsevier products as ScienceDirect, Scopus, Researcher Discovery, Researcher Academy and Mendeley.

KPI Library specialists have prepared instructions for setting up free access.

Platform «Вільна наука»

«Вільна наука» («Free Science») is a new platform for popularizing discoveries made by Ukrainian scientists.

Scientific institutes and institutions can use this news aggregator to easily talk about their discoveries and publish press releases, and journalists can have direct contact with representatives of scientific institutions to distribute news to the public. Registration is open to students and journalists. Readers can familiarize themselves with the content without prior registration.

The goal of «Вільна наука» is to create new opportunities for:

• scientists ( popularization of results);
• journalists (clarification of the results and verification of interpretations of the scientific works of Ukrainian scientists);
• Ukrainian and international investors (to get acquainted with the practical developments of scientists).
