Affiliation is an indication of the institution with which the author of an article is affiliated. It is on the basis of this information that Scopus, Web of Science, and other systems index your publications and link them to the author’s and university’s profile.
Why is this important for a researcher?
- Publications with the correct affiliation are automatically included in your author profile in Scopus and WoS, which is important for citation, h-index, and other scientometric evaluations.
- Your visibility in the world of science is growing: international colleagues, grantors, and experts see you as part of a powerful KPI research team.
- You can apply for the award in accordance with the order of KPI №38 from 31.01.2022 – only for publications with the correct affiliation.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute researchers are recommended to indicate the following name:

Important: if you study or work at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, even part-time, and at the same time have a connection with another institution, you can and should indicate both affiliations. This is allowed by international standards and is absolutely correct in the scientific community.
