The KPI Library offers its users a range of services and resources. If you want to use them, please register for a reader’s card.

the service is free for students and university employees.
all others who wish to use the Library’s space, resources, and services must purchase a reader’s card.

HOW TO BECOME A USER

To the students of Igor Sikorsky KPI

If you have a KPI student ID, you are automatically a library user! Your student ID is also your library card.

To activate your library card, log in to your account in the catalog: barcode – student ID number without letters, password – date of birth in the format day/month/year (e.g., 01012002).

Other members of the university community

Don’t have a student ID, but belong to the KPI community? Register in a way that is convenient for you:

in person: contact the librarians at the Information Desk (1st floor). Bring a document proving your identity (work ID or passport). Registration takes 5 minutes;
remotely: fill out the online form. You will receive your reader’s card details: a barcode (a temporary number provided by the system, such as BOR4983) and a password (the password you specified). We will verify and activate your account within 1 business day (you will receive a confirmation letter by email), after which you will be able to use the Library’s services. To obtain a physical reader’s ticket, you must visit the Reference Desk in person.

OTHERS WISHING TO USE THE LIBRARY

If you are not studying or working at the University but would like to use the Library’s space, services, and resources, we invite you to become a user and purchase a reader’s card.

We offer several types of reader’s cards:

Library subscription.By purchasing this subscription, you will be able to use the library’s reading rooms and lobbies (excluding CLUST SPACE), Wi-Fi, computers with internet access, and books in the reading rooms. The cost of the subscription depends on its duration:

one-day subscription – 60 UAH. Valid for one day;
monthly subscription – 300 UAH. Valid for 30 days from the date of purchase;
six-month subscription – 600 UAH. Valid for six months from the date of purchase.

Library + CLUST SPACEsubscription (available for order from January 26, 2024). By purchasing this subscription, you will receive a guaranteed workspace in CLUST SPACE, and you will be able to use all reading rooms and lobbies of the library, Wi-Fi, computers with Internet access, and books in the reading rooms. The cost of the subscription depends on its duration:

daily subscription – 200 UAH. Valid for one day;
monthly subscription – 2500 UAH. Valid for six months from the date of purchase.

You can purchase a reader’s subscriptionat the Information Desk during the Library’s working hours (Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).
