The KPI Library offers a range of services and resources to its users. To access them, please obtain a library membership.
- This service is free of charge for university students and staff.
- All others wishing to use the Library’s space, resources, and services must purchase a library membership.
HOW TO BECOME A USER
To Students of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute
To register with the Library, please contact the Information Desk in a way that is convenient for you:
- in person in the 1st-floor lobby;

In your message or email, please include: your full name, faculty, class, student ID number, and phone number.
For Other Members of the University Community
Don’t have a student ID, but are part of the KPI community? Register in the way that’s most convenient for you:
- in person: contact the librarians at the Information Desk (1st floor). Bring a valid form of identification (employee ID or passport). Registration takes 5 minutes;
- remotely: fill out the online form. You will receive your library card details: a barcode (a temporary number generated by the system, such as BOR4983) and a password (the password you specify). We will verify and activate your account within 1 business day (you will receive a confirmation email), after which you will be able to use the Library’s services. To receive a physical library card, you must visit the Information Desk in person.
FOR OTHERS WISHING TO USE THE LIBRARY
Not a student or employee of the University? You can become a Library user and purchase a library membership directly at the Library.
We offer several types of library memberships:
“Library” Pass. Purchasing this pass grants you access to the library’s reading rooms and lounges (excluding the CLUST SPACE area), Wi-Fi, computers with internet access, and books available within the reading rooms. The cost of the pass depends on its duration:
- Daily pass – 66 UAH. Valid for one day;
- Monthly pass – 330 UAH. Valid for 30 days from the date of purchase;
- Six-month pass – 660 UAH. Valid for six months from the date of purchase.
“Library + CLUST SPACE” Pass. Purchasing this pass guarantees you a workspace in the CLUST SPACE area and grants access to all the library’s reading rooms and lounges, Wi-Fi, computers with internet access, and books available in the reading rooms. The cost of the pass depends on its duration:
- One-day pass – 220 UAH. Valid for the day of use.
- One-month pass – 2,750 UAH. Valid for six months from the date of purchase.
You can purchase a library membership at the Information Desk during the Library’s operating hours (Monday through Friday, from 9:00 to 17:30).
