Open access: almost 40% of KPI publications are open to all!

According to Scopus/SciVal, 39.1% of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute publications for 2019-2024 are available in open access (#OpenAccess). This means that the results of our research can be freely read, cited and used by anyone in the world!

Open access:

  • increases the visibility and citation of works,
  • promotes international scientific communication,
  • complies with the policies of leading grantors and #OpenScience initiatives,
  • brings the results of Ukrainian research closer to those who really need them.

How to ensure open access to your publications?

  • Upload full texts to the Institutional Repository of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (ELAKPI)
  • Do you want to share preprints through thematic repositories (for example, arXiv or ChemRxiv) or provide access to scientific data? Contact the KPI Library – we will help you choose the best platform, advise on copyright, and show you how to make your results as visible as possible.
