Using artificial intelligence for academic activities

A new page has been added to the Library’s website – Using Artificial Intelligence for Academic Activities.

Last year, we had a real boom in the development of artificial intelligence technologies, and it is very important to define a clear framework for the use of these technologies in the educational space. The “Policy on the use of artificial intelligence for academic activities in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, approved in December 2023, serves this purpose.

Article “Working for Victory: Life of a Ukrainian Library During the War”

The new issue of International Leads, the official publication of the International Relations Round Table, a division of the American Library Association, features an article by Oksana Brui, Director of the KPI Library, President of the Ukrainian Library Association, and Yuliia Korian, Project Manager of the KPI Library, entitled “Working for Victory: Life of a Ukrainian Library During the War”.

This article is a story about the life of the KPI Library after February 24, 2022: how we supported each other, provided services, held events, and volunteered despite all the difficulties.

Changes in the Library working hours

From now on, the hall of the 1st floor of the KPI Library is open to the KPI community:

Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 20:00

Saturday from 9:00 to 19:00

Sunday is a day off

The lending desk and reading rooms are still open Monday-Friday from 9:00 to 17:30.
