Scientometrics considers science as an information process characterized by many measurable indexes. Today, in various databases of scientific publications, there are many statistical indexes that are used to evaluate the effectiveness of an individual scientist, scientific publication, and scientific institution.
The complex of the results of scientometric analysis and professional qualitative examination can become the basis for evaluating the prospect, authority, influence of the scientist, team, publication, research direction, etc.
All registered users of the KPI Library can receive individual free of charge consultations at the Center for Education and Research Support (KPI Library, 4th floor, room 4.4). The consultants will help to determine authors’ scientific indicators (citation index and Hirsch index) according to scientometric platforms Scopus and Web of Science.
