Congratulations to the future library-knowledgeable!
We invite you to join our team as a guide who will help open the unique architectural space of our library to curious guests!
We are looking for a sociable and proactive person who will enthusiastically conduct sightseeing and thematic tours for students, faculty, and visitors to the university. This role is ideal for those who are interested in the history and modernity of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, as well as in the cultural and educational traditions of the university.
What to do:
- Prepare information materials for excursions: develop topics, routes, content and texts based on historical and archival sources, scientific publications and up-to-date data. Don’t worry about the lack of content – we already have a base of information and are happy to share it!
- Update methodological materials: adapt specialized information to an understandable and engaging format.
- Conducting tours of the library: introducing its history, unique architectural and artistic objects, collections, resources, and services.
- Communicate with visitors: answer questions, take into account feedback, and help create a pleasant atmosphere during the tours.
The library offers:
- Interesting and dynamic work in a creative and friendly library team.
- Opportunities for professional development and participation in library events, scientific conferences, seminars, and internships in Ukraine and abroad.
- Full provision of professional information resources.
- Stable salary, statutory allowances and supplements, and annual vacation (35 days).
Our candidate should have:
- Higher education (preferably in the field of humanities, history, culture, etc., but we will be glad to see “techies” with a passion for history and KPI)
- Experience in conducting tours or working with the audience.
- Communication skills, impeccable language (Ukrainian is required, knowledge of English will be an advantage); confident computer skills (office suite, Google services).
- Responsibility, initiative, ability to work with different categories of visitors.
- Sufficient knowledge of Ukrainian history and culture, a desire to share it.
If you feel you have the potential for such work and want to become part of the KPI community, please send your resume to hr@library.kpi.ua or call +38 (044) 204-80-72.
