Electronic resources for Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute

We remind you of the commercial international resources of scientific information, to which

Research4Life is a platform for scientific, technical, natural, medical and social
political literature from leading international publishers. For Ukrainian universities
almost 129 thousand books, more than 18.5 thousand journals and databases are available for Ukrainian universities.
Remote access: by login and password, which can be obtained upon request.

Cambridge University Press – scientific literature in the humanities, social sciences and
natural sciences. More than 420 peer-reviewed academic journals.
Remote access: via the Research4Life platform

IOPscience – publications from more than 100 journals published by the British Institute of
Physics in the fields of engineering, physics and related sciences, medicine, etc.
Remote access: via the Research4Life platform

Oxford University Publishing – more than 500 journals and about 29 thousand books in various subject areas
subject areas from the largest university publishing house in the world.
Remote access: via the Research4Life platform

ACM Digital Library – full-text and bibliographic scientific information on
computer science. More than 70 journals, proceedings of 200 annual conferences,
newsletters, etc., as well as the complete archives of the Association for Computing
Machinery for 1951-2000.
Remote access: you need to register on the site and make the first login to the
system must be made from the university’s local network.

ASTM Compass – regulatory materials, standards, technical publications and other sources of
of engineering and technical information developed and published by the American Society for Testing &
Materials (ASTM International).
Remote access: not available. Only in the view mode in the local network.

Springer eBooks 2017 – about 9.5 thousand e-books of 2017 published by Springer
are permanently available for search and download through the Catalog+ of the library. Remote access: order through the electronic document delivery form.

We celebrated the first anniversary of our CLUST SPACE!

We celebrated the first anniversary of our CLUST SPACE!

And given that the space is the “place of power” of our chess community, we celebrated this date with a large-scale chess tournament, the opening of which was attended by the leadership of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Ukrainian Chess Federation.

The prizes of the competition were 10,000 UAH from the Ukrainian Chess Federation for the purchase of chess equipment for the best players, and personal certificates from the KPI Library. And, of course, there was a 15-kilogram cake created by our talented librarians.

We think it was the perfect way to start the new year of our CLUST SPACE with making wishes, socializing and playing chess together.
