Opening of Smart Shelter CLUST Space

Today we officially opened our Smart Shelter CLUST Space!

#CLUST_SPACE_KPI is the first space that combines a shelter and modern coworking. Work on it began in the KPI Library in autumn 2022 – when librarians and students together vacated the premises of our library book depository.

This was the beginning of an incredible journey where we met so many important people – people who created this space. Bright, friendly, cosy, creative. We are grateful to everyone who made it happen.

Paid services of the KPI Library

Dear users!

The list of services on our website has been updated: in addition to free services, the KPI Library has additional paid services.

So, from 8 January 2024, the KPI Library provides the following paid services for all users:

• Determine the UDC index and copyright mark 
• Order a copy of an e-document from the Library’s collection 
• (new!) Make a list of sources for your work 

Get a librarian’s advice on the work and resources of the library, borrow or return a book, get remote access to resources, order a list of sources for a silabus, select sources by topic and many other useful features – you can find a full list of free services of the KPI Library here.

Using artificial intelligence for academic activities

A new page has been added to the Library’s website – Using Artificial Intelligence for Academic Activities.

Last year, we had a real boom in the development of artificial intelligence technologies, and it is very important to define a clear framework for the use of these technologies in the educational space. The “Policy on the use of artificial intelligence for academic activities in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, approved in December 2023, serves this purpose.
